Qualifications

• No prior experience or training is required.
• Ability to read a limited number of two‑ and three‑syllable words and recognize similarities between words.
• Ability to add and subtract two‑digit numbers and to multiply and divide using 10s and 100s for money, weight, volume, and distance.
• Ability to follow common-sense instructions and handle problems with one concrete variable in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and healthy workplace by following safety policies and procedures.
• Ensures regulatory compliance at all times.
• Rotates between two stations: a Candler and a Breaking Machine Operator.
• Removes damaged or defective shell eggs and diverts inedible egg product as prescribed.
• Determines whether product meets specifications and takes corrective action as needed.
• Follows GMP and HACCP guidelines and maintains sanitary conditions to support SQF quality.
• Communicates effectively with customers, clients, coworkers, and management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
