Job summary

Vital Farms is hiring a Processing Associate in Springfield, MO. You will operate machinery, maintain sanitation, and perform quality checks to ensure egg quality and safety. Duties include moving products in the warehouse and supporting production on a 12-hour shift schedule.

The 2-week cycle is 2 on / 2 off / 3 on, then 2 off / 2 on / 3 off. Day shifts run 6am–6pm; night shifts run 6pm–6am with a $3 shift differential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read and write in English for safety and food quality reasons.
• 1 year of work experience in an industrial or similarly structured, physically active operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines and robots to load, sort, and pack our pasture-raised eggs.
• Keep sanitary conditions for optimal food production.
• Ensure our eggs meet the standards by following procedures and performing quality checks.
• Inspect supplies and equipment to confirm they are ready for use.
• Operate powered jacks to move supplies and product within the warehouse.
• Perform other duties as needed and be flexible.
