Job summary

Opal Foods is seeking a Case Packer for our Hudson, CO egg production location. You will place egg cartons and flats into cases or pallets, ensuring proper labeling and cleanliness for the next day’s run. Daily tasks include setting up packaging, packing cartons, and assisting the plant lead on other duties.

Ideal candidates read labels, stay detail-focused, and can work a fast pace while standing for long periods. Availability on weekends/holidays and reliable attendance are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and match labels.
• Must demonstrate attention to details.
• Must be able to work at a fast pace and stand for extended periods.
• Must be available to work any day including weekends and holidays.
• Must be clocked in and ready to work every day as scheduled.
• Must be able to stay until the end of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Set up work area and prepare packaging for the day.
• Package one dozen, 18-pack cartons and flats of eggs into crates, boxes or pallets.
• Verify all packaging is matched and labeled properly.
• Clean up work area and keep floor free of egg and debris.
• Help other team members as needed and wrap up at end of day.
