Primary duties include transferring eggs, operating egg buggies, and assisting with mortality removal. The position offers day shifts with weekend work and benefits after the introductory period.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of egg-handling procedures preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic math skills (add/subtract).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
• Experience in agricultural and poultry production environments.

Responsibilities

• Transfer eggs into trays and place trays onto egg buggies.
• Push full egg buggies into egg coolers.
• Load and transfer eggs to designated cooler areas.
• Walk poultry houses to identify and remove mortality.
• Return eggs to nests and address egg jams as needed.
• Clean and disinfect the egg room regularly.
• Follow egg-handling, biosecurity, and culling procedures.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Support supervisor with task assignments and schedule adherence.
