Multiple shifts/hours available. Located in Pittsburg, TX, pay starting at $17 - $18 straight pay - NO OVERTIME.

The Egg Handler is responsible for transferring eggs to trays, loading, and transferring eggs to the cooler. Birds will also be walked several times a day, any eggs out of nests will be put into nests, and any mortality removed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Transfers eggs into trays and onto egg buggies.
  • Walks houses to remove any mortality and egg jams.
  • Cleans and disinfects the egg room weekly.
  • Assumes responsibility for assigning work and meeting schedules within the work group in the absence of the supervisor or lead person.
  • Follows egg handling procedures and culling procedures.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of egg handling procedures.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to push/pull up to 50lbs.
  • Math aptitude including ability to add & subtract.
