Job summary

Pathward, N.A. is seeking an EFT ACH and Wire Support Specialist to join our hybrid team in the United States. You will perform daily banking operations, handle funds movement, and support deposit services with accuracy and compliance.

This role focuses on operational activities, risk assessment, and collaboration with management to implement policies, procedures, and KPIs. A high school diploma and less than one year of related experience are typical prerequisites.

Responsibilities

• Performs operational activities related to banking services, ACH transactions, checks, and wire transfers, including timely processing and reconciliations.
• Identify and assess operational risks, develop corrective action plans, and ensure regulatory compliance via internal controls.
• Collaborate with management in developing and implementing strategic initiatives, policies, procedures, and KPIs.
• Conduct research and resolve customer account and transaction inquiries for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in the development, preparation, and analysis of ad hoc reports to support business and operational objectives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

About the Role:

Performs daily banking operations and funds movement activities in accordance with organizational policies & program standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

What You Will Do:

• Performs operational activities related to banking services, ACH transactions, checks, and wire transfers, including the timely processing of incoming and outgoing funds, exception management, and account reconciliations.
• Identify and assess operational risks, develop corrective action plans, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements through the effective application of internal controls.
• Collaborate with Management in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, policies, procedures, and key performance indicators.
• Conduct research and resolve customer account and transaction inquiries for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in the development, preparation, and analysis of ad hoc reports to support business and operational objectives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What You Will Need:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Typically requires less than one year of related experience.

Distinguishing Characteristics

EFT ACH and EFT Wire Support Specialist Specific:

• Knowledge of payment regulations and industry rules preferred.

Deposit Services Rep Specific:

• Open new deposit accounts and implement online banking solutions for customers
• Provide ongoing support for customer activities following account opening, including account maintenance requests, service related inquiries, and assistance with account functionality.
• Effective organizational skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Salary range: $17.25 hourly – $28 hourly

The salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this role. Individual pay within the range will be determined by multiple factors which can include but are not limited to a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role is also eligible for an annual performance-based incentive opportunity.
