Position Summary

The customer service representative acts as a liaison between manufacturing activities and the customer. This position reports to the Customer Service Supervisor.

Key Duties Include

1. Performing job duties in a safe manner
2. Receiving and processing orders
3. Maintaining computer and manual records
4. Coordinating shipments
5. Compiling and distributing reports
6. Filing
7. Sending and receiving data electronically
8. Setting up new customers using established processes and systems
9. Creating billing of packing slips
10. Maintaining required data in company's MRP system
11. Interacting frequently with customers, team members, and management personnel
12. Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
13. Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

To succeed, must maintain strong working relationships and communicate professionally and courteously with customers and team members. The key knowledge, skills, and abilities include:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Typing proficiency and data entry accuracy
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using a calculator
• Ability to sit for extended periods
• Use of hands and fingers
• Ability to stand and walk
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
• Ability to push and pull up to 10 pounds
