Job summary

Polaris Inc. in Vermillion, SD is hiring for a warehouse associate to execute daily warehouse tasks with accuracy and speed.

You will pick, pack, and ship orders, operate RF equipment and forklifts, and ensure proper receiving and data entry while maintaining a safe, clean workspace. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, basic arithmetic, reading comprehension, and forklift experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in warehouse tasks and forklift operation preferred.
• Able to read pick tickets and perform basic arithmetic; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Picks orders rapidly, efficiently, and accurately.
• Packs orders rapidly, efficiently, and accurately.
• Operates shipping system if assigned, rapidly and accurately.
• Receives incoming product, can include loading/unloading, counting, verifying, and data entry.
• Understands barcode technology and RF equipment operation.
• Operates automated picking equipment, power conveyors, and forklifts as assigned.
• Adheres to quality procedures and safety practices at all times.
• Maintains neat and orderly warehouse; supports safe, efficient operations.
• Meets or exceeds pick/pack/ship/receive volume and quality standards.
