Job summary

ADUSA Distribution, the distribution arm of Ahold Delhaize USA, is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Schodack Landing, NY. You will perform distribution center shipping and receiving tasks to move product accurately and safely through the facility.

You will operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment, complete required paperwork, and help maintain sanitation and efficiency. Availability to meet production standards and adapt to varying warehouse conditions is required.

Qualifications

• Certified on powered industrial equipment where applicable.
• Able to use a PC for data entry and research purposes.
• Highly motivated self-starter and team player with strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• High School Education.
• Familiarity/experience in a distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving tasks as assigned by supervisor or designee.
• Complete all documents related to shipping and/or receiving tasks.
• Select and palletize grocery, produce, meat, frozen food and dairy orders for shipment to stores.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Perform pre-operational checks of pallet jacks or forklifts.
• Follow sanitation practices; keep work area clean and debris-free.
• Suggest process modifications to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
