Job summary

Staff Force is seeking a reliable Forklift Order Picker to join our team. You will accurately select and prepare customer orders for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The role requires attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment. Ideal candidates have experience as an order picker or similar role, familiarity with warehouse management systems, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Order Picker or similar role preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge for operating material handling equipment.
• Experience on a sit-down forklift.
• Proficiency in materials handling techniques.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Utilize a warehouse management system to locate and pick items from designated locations.
• Ensure accuracy by double-checking quantities and product codes.
• Package orders securely to prevent damage during transit.
• Operate material handling equipment such as cherry pickers and reach trucks.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment targets.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
