Job summary

Surlean Foods is seeking a packing operator to operate machinery and maximize production at the Forest Park, Georgia facility. The role requires completing paperwork, locking out equipment for setup and disassembly, inspecting equipment to specifications, and reporting abnormalities to supervision.

Candidates should maintain clean work areas, follow sanitation procedures, keep an up-to-date inventory of packing supplies, and be willing to rotate jobs as needed within a safety-conscious team

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
• Ability to communicate and work well with others in a team effort.

Responsibilities

• Must complete all paperwork related to the job.
• Lock out equipment before set up.
• Inspect equipment during set up following product specification.
• Report abnormalities to Supervisor.
• All packaging materials must comply with product specifications and quality standards.
• Carefully seal all packing materials to protect them from contaminants.
• Return packaging to designated storage area.
• Lock out equipment before disassembling.
• Responsible for dry pick up.
