Job summary

Prescient Edge seeks an experienced Effects Planner to coordinate and synchronize operational plans at HQ USSOCOM, MacDill AFB, FL. You will lead cross-functional planning teams and draft plans, orders, and guidance to align priorities with strategic directives.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree (or 12 years military planning), active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI Poly, and 10+ years as a planner at O-6 or higher level within USSOCOM or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of combined work-related experience with minimum of 5 years since 2020 as a Planner at the O-6 or higher level within USSOCOM Enterprise or Interagency equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional planning teams.
• Experience facilitating working groups to deconflict resources, timing, and objectives between different subordinate commands and staff sections.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional planning teams to synchronize effects into a cohesive operational plan.
• Draft, write, and staff major special operations related documents, such as CONPLANs and OPORDs.
• Advise military staff on interpretation and application of planning guidance.
• Develop Measures of Performance (MOPs) and Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs).
• Prepare and deliver briefings to senior leaders on proposed or current plans.
