Job summary

Harmony Orthodontics is seeking a dedicated Orthodontic Assistant with 1–2 years of experience to support chairside care across multiple offices in the Portland metro area. The role requires EFDA and RHS certifications, with a focus on patient comfort and efficient treatment flow.

The position involves traveling between Gresham, Sandy, and Camas clinics, plus occasional coverage at Tualatin location, ensuring seamless daily practice operations and exceptional patient experiences.

Qualifications

1–2 years clinical orthodontic assisting experience preferred.
Active Oregon EFDA and RHS certifications required.
Active BLS/CPR certification; Harmony funds recertification fees.
Strong digital charting and dental practice software knowledge (Cloud9 a bonus).
Collaborative, patient‑friendly, detail‑oriented team player.

Responsibilities

Provide high‑quality chairside orthodontic support and EFDA care during routine adjustments, bonds, appliances, and debonds.
Take diagnostic records including intraoral photos, radiographs, and digital impressions.
Welcome families and ease anxieties with upbeat, clear hygiene instructions and milestone celebrations.
Travel between Gresham, Sandy, Tualatin, and Camas clinics to support operations.
