Job summary

Corner Dental in Bowling Green, OH is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to work closely with doctors, provide clinical support, and educate patients. You will perform expanded duties allowed by state regulations while maintaining accurate records in dental software.

Ideal candidates hold EFDA certification (or state-required training) and radiography licensure, with 1–5 years of experience preferred. Excellent CPR, MS Office, and digital x-ray skills are expected.

Qualifications

• EFDA certification or state-required training.
• 1–5 years experience preferred; new graduates considered.
• Radiography licensure meeting state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside support for doctors, including charting and patient education.
• Perform expanded functions such as fillings, temporary crowns, sutures, and topical fluoride where allowed.
• Maintain accurate patient health history and treatment plans in dental software.
• Assist in clinical procedures, ensuring a smooth patient care process.
• Stay up-to-date on state regulations and compliance for safe care.
