Job summary

Wyoming Smiles Center is seeking a skilled Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our caring team. You will support the dentist during procedures, perform expanded functions, take radiographs, and maintain patient records in a welcoming practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in dental assisting with EFDA functions.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork.
• Self-motivated, punctual, and reliable.
• Open Dental experience preferred; willing to train right candidate.
• Proficient in dental terminology and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during treatment procedures.
• Perform expanded functions including restorative procedures, coronal polishing, and sealants.
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patient visits.
• Provide chairside assistance and support to the dental team.
• Take and develop dental radiographs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure infection control protocols are followed.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
