Heartland Dental LLC is looking for an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) in Lafayette, Indiana. The EFDA will be responsible for patient greeting, chairside assistance, and ensuring patient comfort and care during dental procedures. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to manage inventory effectively.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of chairside expanded functions, including composite restoration placement.
• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience working with a dental software such as Dentrix.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and sustain comfort throughout treatment.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments.
• Provide superior chairside assistance during a variety of procedures.
• Prepare treatment room with adherence to safety protocols.
• Manage supply and inventory levels.
