Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a qualified dental assistant in Florida to support dentists with clinical procedures and patient care. The role requires EFDA and/or Radiography Certification within 90 days of hire and strong back-office and administrative knowledge.

The position involves assisting in clinical treatments, scheduling, patient education, insurance explanations, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant records with proper infection control practices in a busy practice.

Qualifications

• Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification or Radiography Certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Florida licensure: Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or CDA certificate obtained before May 2009 per state guidelines.
• Minimum of one year dental experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist in clinical procedures and treatments.
