Job summary

Jobvite, Inc. is seeking a knowledgeable Dental Assistant with EFDA certification or Florida RDA/CDA license to join our clinical team. You will assist the dentist in procedures, document treatment, and help with patient education in a fast-paced dental office.

Responsibilities include charting, infection control, scheduling, and coordinating with front desk staff. A minimum of one year of dental experience and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification or Florida RDA/CDA license.
• Radiography licensure is required.
• Minimum one year dental experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist in clinical procedures and treatments.
• Maintain patient records and consent forms accurately.
• Schedule appointments and manage confirmations.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance per OSHA guidelines.
• Maintain equipment and inventory, notify manager of issues.
• Assist with laboratory duties as needed.
• Provide dental education to patients and explain treatment plans.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality.
