Job summary

Brownsburg Family Dentistry in Brownsburg, Indiana is seeking a skilled Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team Tuesday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm. The role offers a competitive pay range based on experience, full benefits, and a collaborative work environment.

Ideal candidates have EFDA and X-ray certification, strong communication, and Open Dental experience. New graduates are welcome to apply as part of our supportive practice focused on patient care and growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• EFDA certification and Indiana X-ray certification are required.
• Strong communication skills and reliability are essential.
• Experience with Open Dental is preferred but new grads are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during various treatment procedures.
• Perform expanded functions including restorative procedures, coronal polishing, and sealant placement.
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patient visits.
• Provide chairside assistance and support to the dental team.
• Take and develop dental radiographs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure infection control protocols are followed.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care.
