Job summary

Elite Dental Partners in Anderson, IN is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join a patient-centered team. You will chart, educate patients, set up operatory, take X-rays, and support dentists and hygienists to deliver efficient, high-quality care.

Requires EFDA certification, radiology certification, and 2+ years of experience. Proficiency with Dentrix and Microsoft Office is a plus. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within a supportive practice.

Qualifications

• Advanced EFDA certification required (EFDA/EDDA/EFODA).
• State Board radiology certification required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Dental Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side clinical support to dentists and hygienists; charting, patient education, operatory setup and cleanup.
• Deliver a superior patient experience at all phases of their appointment.
• Take and process X-Rays.
• Perform procedures as directed by the dentist and hygienist; maintain productive schedule.
• Enter patient treatment plans and maintain files.
• Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories.
• Educate patients on oral health maintenance.
