Job summary

Fairfield Family Dental, a Heartland Dental supported office, seeks an Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) with a current Ohio EFDA certification. You will join a 15-person team, support clinical treatment, take and develop X-rays, manage supplies, and help keep the dentist’s schedule on track.

This role requires strong interpersonal and patient-care skills, the ability to travel for training occasionally, and a positive, reliable attitude.

Qualifications

• Must have current EFDA certification in Ohio.
• Ability to travel for training occasionally.
• Excellent patient care and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in a dental practice is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take and develop dental X-rays and provide post-operative procedures.
• Organize and maintain lab equipment.
• Support the dentist and help manage dental emergencies.
• Assist in continuing education and training opportunities for staff.
