Arizona Department of Child Safety is seeking an Extended Foster Care Review Specialist in Phoenix. You will coordinate and facilitate administrative reviews for young adults in extended foster care, ensuring access to services and quality case management to support transitions to adulthood.

The role involves preparing reviews, data tracking, and presenting to staff; travel within-state is required, with potential weekend/evening hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, psychology, counseling or related field
• 3–5 years of direct work with youth in Arizona's foster care system
• Knowledge of Youth Thrive Framework and Arizona's child welfare processes

Responsibilities

• Schedule and complete Extended Foster Care (EFC) case reviews with young adults and supports.
• Research cases prior to reviews and prepare comprehensive reports uploaded to Guardian.
• Monitor deadlines to ensure timely EFC Reviews per federal requirements.
• Provide training and mentoring to EFC Reviewers and participate in ongoing training.
