Job Summary:

PowerSecure is seeking qualified candidates for exciting new projects throughout the US. The Mechanical Field Supervisor will oversee Mechanical Project Installations, including Piping Replacements, Chillers, Boilers, Air Handlers, Pumps, VAV Boxes, etc., managing internal installers, technicians, and subcontractors. Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma, GED, or Trade School certification.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Proficiency with Procore, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• At least 8 years of experience in pipefitting/pipe fusion/mechanical trades, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience with scheduling, project budgeting, materials coordination, and managing labor.
• Knowledge of various pipe and fitment techniques and materials, with diameters from ½” to 12” or greater.
• Experience in sheet metal ductwork fabrication and installation.
• Electrical and controls installation experience is a plus.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug tests, and site access requirements.
• OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
• Willingness to travel for project work.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Extensive pipefitting and mechanical skills in HVAC industry.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Material takeoff and ordering skills.
• Project management, scheduling, and budgeting knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Understanding of project accounting.
• Leadership in safety standards and practices.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

The role involves managing a team of up to 8 HVAC installers, laborers, and subcontractors to complete projects safely and efficiently.

Essential Functions:

• Coordinate schedules with project managers, clients, and subcontractors.
• Develop and communicate weekly/monthly schedules.
• Maintain daily reports and safety briefings.
• Mentor and develop team members.
• Uphold safety standards and policies.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as walking, climbing, kneeling, and working at heights.
• Work may involve exposure to weather, noise, chemicals, electrical hazards, and other environmental risks.
