Job summary

The City of New York’s Equal Employment Practices Commission seeks an EEO Program Analyst in the Audit Unit to analyze and monitor EEO programs for compliance with city, state, and federal laws. The role involves conducting audits, reviewing affirmative action programs, and advising agencies on regulatory requirements.

Applicants will work at 253 Broadway, Suite 602, New York, NY 10007, with a 35-hour workweek and US work authorization required.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree with two years of community work experience in related duties, or
• A high school diploma with six years of related experience, or
• An education/experience equivalent to the above, with at least one year of experience as described in the first option.

Responsibilities

• Audit, evaluate, and monitor City agencies’ EEO programs for compliance with city, state and federal laws.
• Conduct comprehensive and focused audits of employment/EEO programs and advise agency personnel on relevant EEO regulations.
• Prepare written determinations and recommendations to address non-compliance and assist in implementing corrective actions.

Education

Bachelor's degree + 2 years experience

High school graduation + 6 years experience

Equivalency with at least 1 year of experience described in item 1
