Job summary

Roper St. Francis Healthcare is seeking an Electroneurodiagnostic (EEG) Technician to initiate and maintain long-term EEG monitoring equipment and perform a range of neurodiagnostic studies.

The role requires adherence to American EEG Society standards and Neuro-diagnostic lab protocols. The ideal candidate will have high school graduation with allied medical training and at least 1 year of EEG experience, with EEG certification preferred and a current BLS for Healthcare Providers.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate with college level training or experience, preferably in an allied medical field.
• Experience: One-year experience as an Electroneurodiagnostic (EEG) Technician preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: None required, although EEG Certification is desirable. Must have a current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card.
• EEG Certification is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and maintain long-term EEG monitoring equipment.
• Perform EEGs and related neurodiagnostic procedures according to standards.
• Evaluate data obtained during monitoring and ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate with physicians and hospital staff and maintain patient records.
