Job summary

Tanner Health is seeking an EEG Technician to perform neurodiagnostic testing using an electroencephalograph to measure the brain's electrical activity and the nervous system. You will adhere to standard procedures to ensure accurate data collection and patient safety.

Required: High School Diploma or GED, at least 1 year of related experience, and CPR certification. ASENT-accredited program certification is preferred but not required.

Job description

The electroencephalographic (EEG) technician uses diagnostic testing procedures with an electroencephalograph machine to measure the electrical activity of the brain, spinal cord, the peripheral nerves, or the somatosensory systems.

Required Knowledge & Skills

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: One year of related experience. Requires a working knowledge of standard practices and procedures.

Licenses and Certifications

• HEALTHCARE PROVIDER (CPR)

Qualifications

• 1 year certificate from a program accredited by the American Society of Electro-neurodiagnostic technologists preferred by not required.
