Josephson-Wallack-Munshower Neurology PC seeks an EEG/VEEG Technologist to perform EEG and VEEG tests for pediatric and adult patients, ensuring accurate data collection and high-quality patient care.
The role requires coordinating test scheduling, assisting with education, and maintaining EEG equipment and safety procedures across multiple sites.
This is a full-time position, days and hours of work are Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5p.m.
Responsible for completing electroencephalograms and video electroencephalograms and assisting with related patient care, such as monitoring and scheduling.
Nonexempt
Reports to the Office Manager.
None
Communicate office supply inventory with Office Manager.
Responsible for cleaning/maintaining equipment, initiates maintenance repairs.
Establishes safety check system for all EEG equipment, including outreach site.
Other duties, as assigned.
50%: Requires frequent travel between JWM offices by personal vehicle. Must have valid driver's license and current auto insurance. Standard mileage reimbursement provided by the Organization.
The job holder must demonstrate current competencies applicable to job position.
High school diploma or GED. Valid EEG Tech Registration Required.
Minimum of 1 year of EEG/VEEG technical experience required.
Knowledge of customer service principles.
Knowledge of scheduling and prior-authorizing testing
Skill in EEG/VEEG concepts through effective assistance to care team.
Skill in using EEG/VEEG equipment.
Skill in demonstrating patient services philosophy
This job operates in a clinical office setting and requires frequent travel to JWM local offices. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. There may be frequent exposure to communicable diseases and other conditions.

This is role requires one to sit, stand and walk for 8-9 hours per day. This would require the ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs., open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. This role requires full range of motion, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination.
