Community Health Systems in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking an EEG Technician to perform EEGs and EVP tests, assess patients, and document findings to support diagnosis and treatment.
You will operate and maintain equipment, ensure safety, schedule procedures, input charges, and communicate clearly with patients and families to promote a positive experience.
The role requires 0-2 years of EEG experience and completion of a formal EEG Technician training program; Basic Life Support is preferred.
The EEG Technician performs electroencephalograms (EEGs) and evoked potential (EVP) tests using specialized equipment to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions. This role involves patient assessment, observation, and care documentation, ensuring procedures are conducted safely and accurately. The EEG Technician operates independently, maintaining a clean and organized work environment and adhering to safety standards.
