AdventHealth in Orlando, FL seeks an EEG Technician to support neurodiagnostic testing and patient care. You will operate EEG equipment, document procedures, and collaborate with the clinical team to maintain high-quality patient experiences.

The role requires precise data entry, adherence to safety standards, and effective communication with physicians, families, and staff. This full-time shift offers day hours and sign-on/relocation incentives as described in the posting.

Formación

• Minimum education: high school graduate or equivalent.
• 1+ year of experience in neurodiagnostics or formal on-the-job training.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Ability to operate EEG equipment and software.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains supplies and equipment for patient care and ensures equipment is in good working condition.
• Performs basic troubleshooting and calls in service tickets when repairs are required.
• Prepares patients for testing using the International 10-20 system or equivalent setup.
• Communicates with physicians and supervisors about changes in patient condition.
• Accurately documents and bills procedures to meet department and hospital standards.
• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
