Nicklaus Children’s Hospital is seeking an EEG/LTM Technician III to operate the laboratory with Flex Shifts in the Pool. You will perform clinical neurodiagnostic testing, manage data, and support physicians with complex EEG and Long-Term Monitoring in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes pediatric/neonatal care, collaboration with physicians, and strict adherence to safety and EMR documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Electroneurodiagnostic Technology program accredited by Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or equivalent formal on-the-job training.
• ABRET certification must be active and in good standing throughout employment.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required and active.
• 4-7 years experience as Electroencephalographic Technologist II with emphasis in pediatrics, neonates and Intensive Care.

Responsibilities

• Performs EEG or Evoked Potential testing and updates in Cerner.
• Reviews current EEG Activity on Cerner video database.
• Interacts with computer programs to print sample recordings and edits data for physician review.
• Takes instructions from physicians regarding electrode placement, hyperventilation, and cortical stimulation.
• Maintains equipment and ensures patient safety; reports repairs within 24 hours.
