Job summary

JCC Greater Boston is seeking a Floater Teacher to join the Godine Early Learning Center in Newton, MA. The role supports daily operations and delivers a curriculum focused on social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

This is a full-time salaried position with a starting salary of $40,800-$44,625. Benefits include tuition reimbursement, health insurance, and more. EEC certification is preferred; candidates may become certified after hire.

Qualifications

• EEC certification preferred or willing to become certified
• Create a safe and nurturing environment where children can play, learn, and take risks
• Co-create a collaborative, dynamic, positive, and innovative classroom culture
• Work in partnership with JCC leadership and other departments to support organizational goals and JCC values
• Partner and communicate with families to ensure the best care and education for the children
• Complete observation and document assessments regarding children’s progress
• Adhere to all EEC regulations and guidelines
