This role involves ensuring data quality is quantifiable and managed across EDW pipelines, partnering closely with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will manage DQ execution, issue triage, reporting, and improvements while ensuring alignment with business outcomes and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
Execute the EDW data quality (DQ) controls framework across pipelines and layers.
Implement and maintain standardized DQ rules, metadata, thresholds, and severity.
Validate business rules and critical data elements (CDEs) with Data Owners/Stewards.
Manage DQ rule lifecycle and change control (create, update, approve, retire).
Maintain DQ monitoring, alerting, and exception management.
Triage DQ failures, assess impact, and coordinate remediation with engineering and business teams.
Maintain failure evidence (records, metrics, audit trails) for traceability and compliance.
Deliver DQ dashboards, scorecards, and operational reporting to stakeholders.
Define and track DQ metrics aligned to SLAs, success criteria, and governance needs.
Serve as the day-to-day DQ liaison and drive continuous improvement across teams.
