Job summary

Compunnel, Inc. is seeking a Lead Business Systems Analyst to drive EDW initiatives, partnering with business and technical teams to define requirements and enable data-driven decisions.

You will act as the liaison between stakeholders and Agile delivery teams, manage the product backlog, and support Snowflake-based data solutions. The role requires 7+ years in EDW environments, strong SQL skills, and experience with ETL, data governance, and Agile practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a Business Systems Analyst in an EDW environment.
• Experience using SQL for ad-hoc querying, data analysis, and validation.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business and technical requirements.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, user stories, epics, backlog refinement, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience supporting ETL and data integration.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar Agile tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, Product Owners, and Agile delivery teams.
• Gather, analyze, and document requirements for EDW initiatives.
• Develop and maintain source-to-target data mappings.
• Collaborate with Product Owners on Epics, Features, and User Stories.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and backlog refinement.
• Define acceptance criteria and support delivery of business requirements.
• Use SQL to analyze, validate, and troubleshoot enterprise data.
• Support ETL and data integration initiatives.
• Identify, document, and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
• Resolve impediments with Business Systems Analysts and Scrum Masters.
• Support data governance and data quality initiatives.
