Job summary

You will act as the liaison between stakeholders and Agile delivery teams, manage the product backlog, and support Snowflake-based data solutions. The role requires 7+ years in EDW environments, strong SQL skills, and experience with ETL, data governance, and Agile practices.

The Lead Business Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) initiatives by partnering with business and technical teams to define requirements, develop data solutions, and enable data-driven decision-making. This role serves as the liaison between stakeholders and Agile delivery teams, manages the product backlog, develops source-to-target mappings, and supports enterprise data warehouse solutions utilizing Snowflake, ETL technologies, SQL, and related data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, Product Owners, and Agile delivery teams.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for enterprise data warehouse initiatives.
• Develop and maintain source-to-target data mapping documentation.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and subject matter experts to refine Epics, Features, and User Stories.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and story estimation.
• Define acceptance criteria and support successful delivery of business requirements.
• Utilize SQL to analyze, validate, and troubleshoot enterprise data.
• Collaborate with development teams to support ETL and data integration initiatives.
• Identify, document, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Work with Business Systems Analysts and Scrum Masters to resolve project impediments.
• Support enterprise data governance and data quality initiatives.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of enterprise data warehouse processes and standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in an Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environment.
• 3+ years of experience using SQL for ad-hoc querying, data analysis, and validation.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business and technical requirements.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies, user stories, epics, backlog refinement, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience supporting ETL processes and enterprise data integration.
• Experience working with Azure DevOps or similar Agile project management tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in financial services or banking.
• 5+ years of experience with Snowflake and AWS S3.
• Experience with enterprise data warehouse technologies including Snowflake, DataStage, Python/PySpark, Infogix, and Tableau.
• 5+ years of experience with data modeling using Erwin or similar modeling tools.
• 5+ years of experience developing source-to-target data mappings.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise data warehousing best practices and standards.
• Experience leading or mentoring Business Systems Analysts on project teams.
