Job summary

Sonnetschool in Minnesota is seeking an Educator’s Aide to support educators in creating a nurturing, engaging learning space where children develop foundational skills.

You will assist with curriculum implementation, supervise children, and help with classroom organization, while communicating with families under supervision. A background check and CPR/First Aid certification may be required.

Qualifications

• Must meet Minnesota DHS Teacher’s Aide qualification requirements.
• Previous experience working with young children in a childcare setting is preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Must possess CPR/First Aid certification, or willing to obtain within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Support Curriculum Implementation by assisting in play-based, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with standards.
• Provide active supervision to ensure children’s safety and engagement in all activities.
• Assist in maintaining an organized, clean, and safe classroom environment.
• Greet families and support positive daily interactions during drop-off and pick-up.
