Job summary

Sonnet Montessori is seeking an Educator's Aide to support Lead Educators in delivering play-based, developmentally appropriate activities for young children in a nurturing classroom. You will help maintain a safe, organized space and participate in daily routines and transitions.

You will assist with observation of developmental milestones, contribute to positive behavior guidance, and communicate with families during drop-off and pick-up.

Qualifications

• Background check required.
• Pediatric CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and supervise children indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Calm, patient demeanor under stress.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Educator with play-based, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Provide active supervision of children and assist in observing developmental milestones.
• Support classroom organization and positive behavior guidance strategies.
• Greet families and communicate daily activities via the center's platform.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas and best practices.
