Job summary

The Arizona Department of Education in Phoenix is seeking a Professional Learning Specialist to support Title II, Part A duties and the SEA's professional development programs.

The role designs, revises, implements, and facilitates educator leadership academies and training, using data-driven approaches to improve outcomes in high-need Arizona schools. Occasional travel and a hybrid in-office/remote work model are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience and 3 years of site/district leadership or instructional coaching
• Applicants must have taught or administered an educational program
• Knowledge of ESSA Title II and related instructional leadership concepts
