Job summary

The School District of Philadelphia is seeking a Professional Learning Specialist (Leadership Development) to design and facilitate district-wide professional learning for teachers, principals, and support staff, aligned with MTSS and equity-based goals.

The role leads content programming, coordinates large-scale training, develops measures of impact, and partners with the Office of Academic Supports to strengthen instructional leadership across diverse networks.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education, administration, or a related field.
• Five years of full-time teaching with experience leading professional learning for adults.
• Valid Pennsylvania Administrative certificate for K-12 or Elementary/Secondary Principal.

Responsibilities

• Design and facilitate professional learning sessions across networks and schools.
• Lead content programming and logistics for district-wide professional learning.
• Measure learning impact and analyze data to inform decisions.
• Hire and develop part-time staff to support programs.
