Job summary

Horace Mann seeks motivated insurance professionals to join our educator-focused team. This opportunity offers an Exclusive Agent or Enhanced Exclusive Agent path, leveraging an existing book of business with renewal income and strong brand support.

Both roles require Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses, with FINRA licenses (SIE, Series 6/63) as applicable. 1099 compensation provides uncapped earning potential and robust training and resources to help you grow your book of business.

Qualifications

• Active Life & Health and Property & Casualty licenses required.
• FINRA licenses (SIE, Series 6 & 63) may be required or obtained after start.
• Insurance or financial services experience preferred.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills essential.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and self-motivation required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with educators and school employees.
• Identify client needs and recommend insurance and financial solutions.
• Generate new business through referrals, school partnerships, and networking.
• Retain and renew policies while delivering exceptional service.
• Cross-sell auto, home, life, and retirement products.
• Participate in community and educator-focused events.
