Job summary

The National WWII Museum seeks an Educational Travel Relationship (ETR) Manager to develop and manage engagement programs for Educational Travelers and grow Patriots Circle membership during and after trips.

Reporting to the Patriots Circle Director, you will collaborate with Educational Travel, Education and Access, and the Executive Office to craft opportunities for travelers before, during, and after Museum tours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Experience in customer relationship management or sales; fundraising or membership programs in nonprofit environments.
• Experience with database management, applications, and spreadsheets; knowledge of fundraising software (Raiser’s Edge preferred).
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, initiative, problem solving under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, oral and written communication; team player.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed, consistent engagement plans for Educational Travelers to inform and recruit them as Patriots Circle members.
• Create 360-degree communications outlining the Museum’s mission, goals, and engagement opportunities.
• Design solicitation tracks for Educational Travelers focusing on Patriots Circle and major gifts; coordinate with Marketing for aligned messaging.
• Coordinate with Educational Travel staff to ensure premium hospitality during trips and support staff on international tours.
• Collaborate with Patriots Circle and Major Gift Officers to cultivate and steward donor prospects.
• Oversee staffing for on-campus Educational Travel programs and major events, including conferences and symposia.
• Develop stewardship cycles with surveys and pre/post trip cultivation for Educational Travelers.
• Take on other duties as assigned by leadership.
