RSU 24 Special Education team invites an Educational Technician to join the self-contained life skills classroom at Sumner Middle School. The candidate must hold Ed. Tech. III certification and a current CHRC, and will collaborate to support students with disabilities.

• Support students with disabilities in a self-contained life skills classroom.

Job description

he RSU 24 Special Education team is in search of an educational technician interested in joining a supportive, dedicated staff to support our students with disabilities in our self-contained life skills classroom at Sumner Middle School. Successful applicants will possess Ed. Tech. III certification and have a current CHRC. The successful applicant will be patient, creative, flexible, possess a positive attitude, and have a demonstrated ability to successfully collaborate with other team members to best support students with disabilities. Preference will be given to applicants with a strong understanding of the characteristics of autism including sensory needs.
