Responsibilities

• Administer needs assessment.
• Provide professional guidance in college admission, financial aid, and career readiness.
• Make referrals and placements.
• Secure documentation of participant eligibility.
• Maintain confidential participant records and utilize the database.
• Build rapport with counselors and principals in target schools.
• Develop relationships with participants and advocate as needed.
• Assist the director in workshops and as liaison to community agencies and schools.
• Maintain up-to-date information on financial aid and post-secondary programs.
