Job summary

Osseo Area School District ISD 279 is seeking an Educational Support Professional to assist teaching staff and students in classrooms.

The role involves supporting students' academic and social-emotional needs, supervising in study hall and hallways, and aiding in assessments and data management. This is a part-time, school-year position with a six-hour day schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bargaining unit: Educational Support Professionals.

Responsibilities

• Support students' academic and social-emotional needs.
• ESP will have a rotating schedule between ATS, Study Hall, and Hallway Supervision.
• Assist the Principal, School Counselors, and Instructional Assistants with social-emotional learning and behavior support to individual students.
• Supervise students in large group situations in classroom and other areas of the building or small groups.
• Work with students individually or in small groups instructionally.
• Assist in small group assessments and data management as it relates to student work in reading and math.
• Perform functions associated with classroom protocols.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
