Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Educational Psychologist on a 3‑month contract for the London Borough of Enfield. You will undertake statutory assessments for children and young people, delivering high‑quality advice and reports within deadlines, in collaboration with schools, families and professionals.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as an Educational Psychologist.
• Minimum of three years' post-qualification experience.
• Experience carrying out statutory Educational Psychology assessments.
• Experience producing statutory assessment reports.
• Ability and willingness to undertake face-to-face consultations, observations and assessments.
• Knowledge of statutory assessment processes and deadlines.
• Enhanced DBS clearance including children/adults' barred lists.
• Satisfactory references covering the last five years.
• Commitment to GDPR, confidentiality and information governance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out statutory Educational Psychology assessments for children and young people.
• Undertake face-to-face consultations, observations and assessments in Enfield schools, early years settings and family homes.
• Prepare high-quality statutory assessment advice and reports within required statutory timescales.
• Work collaboratively with children, young people, families, schools and other professionals as part of the assessment process.
• Engage fully with QA processes and maintain high professional standards.
• Maintain accurate, confidential and GDPR-compliant records and documentation.
• Use appropriate Educational Psychology service resources and assessment/testing equipment.
• Participate in induction, safeguarding training and CPD activities.
• Comply with professional, safeguarding, confidentiality and information governance requirements.
• Meet 100% of statutory deadlines and contribute positively to Enfield Educational Psychology Service.
