Lakeshore Learning Materials, LLC is seeking a Product Developer Associate to help bring thoughtfully crafted educational products to life, from concept through launch. You will work with designers, engineers, and global sourcing partners to ensure classroom-ready products.

A day on the job includes analyzing trends, ideation, leadership presentations, cross-functional coordination, and a strong focus on quality and timely delivery. A background in education is valued.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in product development.
• 3+ years of experience in education as a teacher.
• Understanding of development process for physical items.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and provide solutions.
• Experience presenting projects to leadership.
• Highly detail-oriented and professional with strong communication.
• Able to work onsite full-time at Carson, CA headquarters.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing market trends and sales data to inform product development.
• Participating in new product ideation and presenting to peers and management.
• Providing clear direction and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Conducting market research and gathering customer insights.
• Ensuring target price and product functionality expectations are met.
• Ensuring products meet high standards of quality and safety, and meet deadlines.
• Communicating project progress and reporting risks to leadership.
