Job summary

Really Good Stuff, Shelton, CT, is seeking an Associate Product Developer to turn classroom experience into engaging, standards-aligned learning solutions for PreK-3. You will collaborate with educators, curriculum experts, designers, and product teams to move ideas from concept through launch on-site in Shelton, CT.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of K-3 classroom teaching experience.
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum development, instructional design, lesson planning, and differentiated instruction.
  • Passion for developing engaging educational products that support teachers and inspire students.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Comfortable learning new technologies; experience with AI tools, EdTech platforms, educational publishing, or product development is a plus.
  • Creative, collaborative, and motivated with a desire to continue making a difference in education.

Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative, standards-aligned educational products for PreK-3 classrooms across multiple subject areas.
  • Design engaging print, digital, and hands‑on learning resources, including games, manipulatives, teacher materials, and classroom activities.
  • Apply your classroom experience to identify instructional needs and develop creative solutions that support teachers and improve student outcomes.
  • Research educational trends, curriculum standards, classroom best practices, and emerging technologies to inform product development.
  • Collaborate with Product Development, Design, Merchandising, Sourcing, Marketing, and Manufacturing teams to bring products from concept through launch.
  • Review educational content for instructional accuracy, grade‑level appropriateness, and curriculum alignment while ensuring exceptional quality.
  • Present new product ideas and incorporate feedback from cross‑functional stakeholders throughout the development process.
  • Evaluate prototypes and production samples to ensure classroom effectiveness, functionality, and quality standards are met.
  • Write compelling product copy that clearly communicates educational value, learning objectives, and classroom applications.
  • Maintain product documentation, educational archives, photography samples, and product records throughout the product lifecycle.
