Child Advocates, Inc. is seeking an Educational Liaison in Indianapolis, IN to serve as a strategic connector between students, families, schools, and service providers. You will advocate for equitable access and coordinate supports across systems to improve academic and behavioral outcomes.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Teaching or Social Work and 5–10 years in related fields, with 3–5 years in leadership. A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Teaching or Social Work required.
  • 5–10 years of teaching or related field experience.
  • 3–5 years in educational leadership or administration.
  • Knowledge of educational law including Article 7 and FERPA.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel statewide.
  • Valid driver’s license and own insured vehicle.
  • Must live in Indiana; central Indiana preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with caregivers, service providers, and school staff.
  • Schedule school meetings and gather information on student performance.
  • Collaborate with staff to plan supports and services for students.
  • Attend Collaborative Family Meetings when education is a priority.
  • Model positive partnerships with schools.
  • Review IEPs and 504 plans to ensure student needs are met.
  • Collaborate with other Educational Liaisons.
  • Attend Educational Liaison team meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
