Only About Children in Hampton is seeking an Educational Leader to guide educational practice across the campus and coach educators, Room Leaders and teachers in curriculum, reflection and quality learning.
You will lead ongoing learning with educators, supporting reflective practice and evidence-based planning to ensure children's voices and rights are central in daily delivery.
When my educators keep wondering, I keep discovering. They notice what I enjoy. They follow my questions. They make space for my culture, my ideas, my voice and my way of learning. They see I am not just playing. I am thinking, testing, imagining, moving, feeling and growing.
At Only About Children Hampton, you can help guide that kind of practice. We’re looking for a reflective, inspiring and practice-focused Educational Leader.
At Hampton, my day feels small, homely and close to the Bayside community. I arrive on Bluff Road, near Hampton Street, reserves, buses and local clubs. The campus feels personal, welcoming and calm.
I learn in three indoor rooms and play outside under the big oak tree, in the natural yard, on the bike track, near the vegetable garden and outdoor dining area. I can make friends, try new foods, practise routines and feel safe with familiar grown-ups. This is where my day feels steady, warm and connected.
At OAC, they say You're The Difference. I think that means you help my educators see me clearly. You help them ask better questions, listen to my ideas and keep learning, so I can keep growing.
I need educators who keep learning with me. As Educational Leader, you will guide educational practice across the campus and coach educators, Room Leaders and teachers in curriculum, reflection and quality learning.
I need to feel safe before I can learn, play and grow. At OAC, child safety comes first. There is zero tolerance for child abuse and harm. Everyone who joins the team must help create a safe, nurturing and inclusive place where children have a voice, feel safe, and are valued and respected. You will need to complete all required working with children, background and compliance checks. OAC welcomes people from all backgrounds who share this commitment.
