Job summary

HES Facilities in Michigan seeks a licensed plumber for our facilities maintenance team. The role focuses on plumbing repairs, installations, and DRB inspections to keep educational facilities safe and compliant.

Responsibilities include piping work, repairing water lines, and coordinating with outside vendors to complete projects on time. The candidate will rotate shifts and support other trades as needed, with a benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Valid plumber's license required.
• Duties include repairs/installations of sinks, commodes, valves and water coolers; piping work.
• Ability to work with other trades and rotate shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing repairs and installations of sinks, commodes, valves, and water coolers.
• Replace damaged water lines and clear clogged drainage systems.
• Measure, cut, thread and prepare piping for replacement or new installations.
• Perform minor electrical and carpentry repairs as needed.
• Record start/finish times and add comments on work orders.
• Oversee outside vendors and obtain necessary materials from warehouse.
