Job summary

HES Facilities is seeking a licensed plumber for facilities maintenance in an educational environment. The role entails plumbing repairs and installations, routine inspections, and coordination with vendors to keep school buildings functional.

The position requires ability to perform minor electrical and carpentry tasks, document work via mobile devices, and rotate shifts as needed to maintain operations.

Qualifications

• Plumbing repairs/installations of sinks, commodes, valves and water coolers.
• Ability to measure, cut, thread and prepare piping for replacement or new installations.
• Performs daily routine building inspections and documents findings.
• Perform minor electrical repairs and carpentry as needed.
• Oversee outside vendors and coordinate material needs.

Responsibilities

• Receives work order instructions and records start/finish times.
• Records comments in cell phone or tablet per policy.
• Perform various plumbing repairs and installations.
• Oversee outside vendors when necessary.
• Rotate to cover shifts as required.
